Did you know that on average, 95% of your typical workforce does not understand its organization’s strategy? Approximately 90% of organizations fail to execute strategies successfully. Another 86% of executive teams spend less than one hour per month discussing their organizations strategy. Lastly, 60% of organizations do not link strategy to budgeting.
With those statistics, it is no wonder that so many businesses throw away millions of dollars every year due to the lack of research, planning, strategy and execution. Every entity needs a solid understanding of their internal and external strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats before articulating the organizations competencies and goals to its members as well as to the customer.
With so many areas to consider with running an organization sometimes it is more feasible to get an outsider to come in for a specific goal or need and institute change objectively. Other times it is beneficial to have a fresh perspective in addressing issues, present solutions, or augment existing staff.
